1. Introduction
1.1. Purpose
The purpose of this Gender Equality Plan (GEP) is to promote gender equality and ensure that all employees, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities in our organization. This plan is aligned with German legislation and European Union directives on gender equality.
1.2. Legal Framework
This GEP is developed in accordance with the following:
– General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) – Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz
– The Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany (Grundgesetz)
– The Gender Equality Directive (2006/54/EC)
– Other relevant German and EU laws and regulations
