What's About

Our project aims to tackle the challenge of fake news and disinformation, focusing on unemployed citizens and small business owners who are particularly vulnerable in the digital age.

At its heart, the initiative is about empowering these groups through a comprehensive approach that combines education and technology.

The project starts with a detailed assessment of the specific needs and challenges faced by our target audience. Based on this, we develop a tailored curriculum that focuses on critical thinking and digital literacy, essential skills for discerning credible information online.

This curriculum is brought to life through interactive workshops and webinars, delivered by specially trained educators who are skilled in engaging and effective teaching methods.

A key component of our project is the development of a user-friendly digital tool. This tool is designed to help users identify fake news and verify information, serving as a practical application of the skills learned in the program.

Continuous monitoring and evaluation ensure that the program remains effective and responsive to participants’ needs. Additionally, we create a support network for graduates, fostering ongoing learning and community engagement.

The main objectives of this project are to build the capacity of organisations in DE, HR, and PT to engage in international projects, create new non-formal education programs to improve critical thinking and media literacy skills of unemployed adults and small business owners, empower organisations to respond to the impact of fake news on adult business opportunities, and develop a new digital tool to enhance the capacity of organisations to use digital resources in their work.
