The project responded to high youth unemployment across Europe by encouraging and equipping young people to pursue digital entrepreneurship as a sustainable career path. Traditional “offline” businesses often fail in the digital era, making digital entrepreneurship a more viable option for long-term success.
Through surveys, young people identified a lack of digital business competences as a key barrier to self-employment. The project addressed this gap by improving youth ICT/digital skills and entrepreneurial competences through innovative tools and training.
In addition to empowering unemployed youth, the project also strengthened the capacity of youth workers and youth work organisations to mentor and support digital entrepreneurship initiatives. The transnational partnership provided diverse perspectives and allowed for the exchange of good practices.
