What's About

BruncHUB Talks: Voices, Ideas, Action is an Erasmus+ Youth Participation project that creates recurring community spaces where young people can meet, connect, and actively shape the conversations that matter most to their lives. Through community-based gatherings in the form of brunch, the project promotes dialogue, creative exchange, and non-formal learning, turning everyday encounters into opportunities for participation, reflection, and collective action.

Developed in response to the growing need for accessible and meaningful youth participation, BruncHUB provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where young people from diverse backgrounds can express their ideas, exchange experiences, and build genuine relationships. Special attention is given to involving young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring that everyone has the chance to be heard, contribute, and play an active role in their community.

Each BruncHUB Talk explores themes that are directly connected to young people’s realities, including democracy, active citizenship, mental wellbeing, digital life, inclusion, identity, sustainability, and intercultural dialogue. Rather than following a predefined programme, the topics evolve through a co-creation process, allowing participants to shape the content and direction of each gathering according to their interests, needs, and lived experiences.

The project combines dialogue, creative expression, peer learning, and participatory methodologies to strengthen young people’s confidence, critical thinking, communication, leadership, and sense of belonging. As the project progresses, participants are encouraged to move from attendees to active contributors, co-facilitators, and community leaders, reinforcing ownership and long-term engagement.

More than a series of events, BruncHUB is designed as a sustainable participation model that strengthens local youth engagement while promoting the core values of the Erasmus+ Programme: inclusion, democratic participation, solidarity, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship. By empowering young people to transform dialogue into concrete local initiatives, BruncHUB contributes to building stronger, more connected, and more inclusive communities where every voice can inspire positive change.

  • Strengthen meaningful youth participation by establishing recurring, community-based dialogue spaces where young people actively co-create topics, activities, and future initiatives.
  • Empower young people as active citizens by supporting them in expressing their views, building self-confidence, developing leadership skills, and transforming dialogue into youth-led local action.
  • Promote inclusion, diversity, and intercultural dialogue by bringing together young people from different cultural, social, and personal backgrounds in safe, accessible, and welcoming environments that encourage mutual respect and understanding.
  • Develop key competences through non-formal education, including communication, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, democratic participation, emotional resilience, and problem-solving, while supporting participants’ personal wellbeing and sense of belonging.
  • Strengthen cooperation between young people, youth workers, local organisations, and community stakeholders, fostering collaboration and creating stronger local participation networks.
  • Build a sustainable participation model that can continue beyond the project’s lifetime, contributing to a more inclusive, democratic, and youth-friendly community while reinforcing the values and priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Youth Goals.

The Objectives

Project RESULT

Over the course of its 24-month implementation, BruncHUB Talks will establish a sustainable local participation model where young people can regularly meet, exchange ideas, and actively contribute to their communities. Participants will strengthen their communication, leadership, critical thinking, and civic engagement skills while gradually taking on more active roles in designing and facilitating the activities.

The project will create a recurring youth dialogue format, strengthen cooperation between local organisations and community stakeholders, and foster a culture of inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and democratic participation. By the end of the project, BruncHUB will leave a lasting legacy through stronger youth participation, a growing network of engaged young people, and a replicable community-based approach that can continue well beyond the Erasmus+ funding period.
